As an Education Placement Counsellor, you will be the primary guide for students and professionals navigating their journey to study abroad. You will provide expert, one-on-one counselling to identify the best-fit universities and courses across our key destinations: the UK, USA, Australia, Canada and Europe.
Your role is to manage the entire placement lifecycle—from initial career counselling and course selection to supporting with applications, scholarships, and visa documentation. You will uphold our core values of ethical processes, transparency, and a student-first approach, ensuring every client receives personalised support to achieve their dreams.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth career counselling and comprehensive student assessments to identify strengths and aspirations.
- Provide expert guidance on university shortlisting based on academic profile, budget, and career goals.
- Manage end-to-end application support, including assisting with Statements of Purpose (SOPs) and document preparation.
- Guide students through visa application processes to ensure high-quality, successful submissions.
- Identify and inform students about relevant scholarship opportunities and financial aid.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with partner universities abroad.
- Stay updated on admission requirements, test preparations (IELTS, TOEFL, GRE, etc.), and immigration policies for study destinations.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in international student placement, admissions, or educational counselling.
- In-depth knowledge of study abroad destinations, university systems, and visa processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a student-centric mindset.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail for managing multiple applications.
- A passion for education and a commitment to ethical counselling practices.
- A University degree or College diploma is an added advantage.
